Tell us all about you and your organization.

We are rising seniors in Alpharetta, GA. We created the Women’s Health Awareness Foundation to fight towards ending period poverty and health care inequality for all communities.

Why do you think it’s important for your generation to let their voices be heard?

It’s important for our generation to let their voices be heard because there are a lot of injustices right now, and it’s imperative that we fight for change so the future generation doesn’t have to.

Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the future?

We are optimistic about the future. We really believe that Gen Z has the potential to lead social movements in order to make a change not only in this country, but in this world.

What are the most important issues facing our world right now? And in the future?

The most important issues facing our world right now are racial inequality, which then leads to wealth inequality. Our world will have to face future issues such as climate change. That’s why it’s imperative for us to speak up.

What does your organization offer that helps the world be a better place?

Our organization works to ensure that people have equal access to health care.

Will you be voting in the next election?

Unfortunately, we are too young to. However, we will definitely register to vote right when we reach the correct age.

Please tell us all about your current campaigns, projects and endeavors.

Right now, we are working on our social media campaign, Healthcare is a Human Right. We are covering 5 issues: Native American health, healthcare for the incarcerated, the tampon tax, bias in healthcare, and humanitarian crises. We are going to be donating to and covering each issue every week for the month of July.

Tell everyone where to find you online and on social platforms.
